Antoš/Pult/Budvar Chocolate Monroe 12 0,75l
Product detailed description
Brewed in Antoš, at the request of Pult, under the supervision of Budvar! This beer is inspired by the classic Irish stout. It combines traditional flavours with a stronger hop flavour and aroma. It offers the perfect balance between full flavour and drinkability. Chocolate malt brings notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee, while Carabohemian adds a light caramel complexity. Monroe hops bring subtle notes of red berry fruit and stone fruit that harmoniously complement the bold malt profile and add a subtle touch of freshness.
Chocolate, cocoa and subtle notes of forest fruits come to the fore in the aroma. In the taste, the individual components develop even more - dark chocolate 🍫 and cocoa are beautifully complemented by fruity notes approaching the profile of wild strawberries, raspberries, citrus 🍊. What we probably enjoy the most is the unctuous hopping, which shows the resinous 🌲 line you know from Black IPA. A slightly unconventional execution of the style, but thanks to this Monroe manages to distinguish itself from its "competition". The drinkability is high and it just falls into you, it literally drinks itself 🚀.
Ingredients: water, Pilsner Kounice barley malts, Crisp Chocolate Coffee, Weyermann Carabohemian and Carafa Special 1, Monroe hops. Contains gluten.
Serve and drink chilled. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Best stored in a cool place up to 8 °C.

There lived a certain Václav Antoš, the burgomaster of Slaný, whose father brewed beer here as early as 1518, which is why the brewery bears their name – Pivovar Antoš! In 1578, Václav Antoš rebuilt the building at Vinařického 14 into a Renaissance style, and in 2010, the tradition of brewing Slaný beer was successfully revived at this location by Josef Paulík.
Today, Pivovar Antoš consists of two operations – one in the Renaissance building at Vinařického 14, which we have already mentioned, where the brewery restaurant Antošova krčma is also located, and the other modern one at Pražská třída 1847, where beer has been brewed since 2015. The quality of our beer is talked about everywhere and our bottles are appreciated among beer lovers.
