In cooperation with the Hop Institute in Žatec, we brewed NEIPA with the experimental Czech hop 5461. Citrus juiciness, apricot softness and subtle spiciness create a unique taste experience that you won't find in Czech hops just like that.
Our cooperation with the Hop Institute in Žatec has once again had a very concrete result – a beer that gives space to a single, but all the more interesting hop. The variety with the working name 5461 is still in the testing phase, but it won us over immediately. At last year's bonitation – i.e. the sensory evaluation of freshly harvested hops – its aroma literally thrilled us. The hop cones gave off an explosion of citrus aroma, supported by the sweetness of apricot and an interesting spicy aftertaste. This expression stands out beautifully in the New England IPA. It is a beer that shows that Czech hops can also have a place in the world of modern, aromatic beer styles. This planet belongs to the future – and we are happy to be among its first inhabitants.
Ingredients: Water, barley malt, oat flakes, wheat malt, hop products.
Serve and drink chilled. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Best stored in a cool place up to 8 °C.

Zichovec je ten pivovar který všichni znají. Vznikl v roce 2012 ve stejnojmenné vesnici nacházející se nedaleko města Slaný.
Postupem času s tím, jak se rozrůstal výstav, pivní nabídka i počet spolupracovníků, začal být původní pivovar na Zichovci malý výroba byla v roce 2016 přesunuta do zrekonstruované budovy bývalé tankové střelnice v Lounech.
Dnes uvaří v pivovaru Zichovec kolem 120 druhů piv ročně.
