The first and only year-round sour from our production. Thanks to the combination of lactic fermentation and a rich dose of passion fruit puree, this Sour Ale will hit you with a really strong acidity and an intense passion fruit flavor. Great refreshment not only during the summer months.

It would be very difficult to find a fruit that goes as well in a simple sour as passion fruit or passion fruit. Its sharply acidic and tropical fruit expression is perfectly combined with the pronounced lactic acidity of the basic sour. This creates a really striking flavor profile. We make our line of fruit sour twelves using the kettle sour method. This means that we first inoculate the wort with a pure culture of lactobacilli, which create lactic acid through their activity and thereby lower the pH, similar to the process of making kefir. When the required level of acidity is reached, the lactobacilli are eliminated by further boiling. Then we ferment the beer again, this time with standard brewing yeast. Ingredients: water, barley and wheat malts, hop products, passion fruit puree. We then infuse the finished beer with different types of fruit puree.
